Just in cause you’re wondering a little more about me:
I am a 20 something living in Houston, Texas. I’m a newly married girl (3/26/11) still working on figuring out this thing called life.
I have lived in Texas all my life and actually lived in the same house until I moved away for 4 years to go to college. After college I moved back home with my parents and back into my old bedroom for a while and later moved into an apartment with my new Husband and our two furbabies.
I started The Sweet Life a little over a year ago to have a place to write about our upcoming wedding. While planning the wedding and trying to shed a few unwanted pounds, I picked up running. I ran my first 5K in May and I am seriously hooked.
Now that the wedding is over, I want to continue to run and to live a healthy lifestyle and so that is what my blog is currently all about. I enjoy eating as healthy as I can and generally love soaking up information about healthy eating styles but I believe that sometimes baked goods are totally worth it and I love to bake. Which is why you might see the occasional cake or sweet treat posted here as well. I am still running and am quite obsessed but have recently found a new love for biking and strength training.
So, if you’re into running, living healthy, have a weird affection for cats (okay maybe not the cat thing) and enjoy seeing pictures of cakes and cookies,then this is the blog for you! So I hope you stop in, read around, and then keep coming back for more!
